On Saturday, 17th June, we shall have a ‘Victorian Day’ at La Hougue Bie, which will be a fun day out for the family, with Queen Victoria arriving in a horse drawn carriage, activities for children such as Victorian swing boats, a coconut shy and ring toss. There will also be an entertainment programme of story-telling, music and dance as well as a printing press, a blacksmith and Société Jersiaise Section members dressed up and demonstrating activities from back in the day, as well as a wonderful menu from BSK to celebrate old-fashioned dishes, all washed down with Jersey cider (not for the children…)!

Programme details of the day to follow…

Feel free to dress up in your best Victorian garb if you like…you will not be alone!

Regular admission charges to Jersey Heritage sites apply.

Société Jersiaise Members free admission.
