We’ve had some recent changes to our staffing here at the Société:
- Patrick Cahill has resigned from the Photo Archive due to family commitments and he will be residing in France full-time. However, we are delighted that he will continue to provide services to the Société as a consultant for the time being. His Publications role remains the same.
- Gerard Sargent our Photo Archive Officer has recently resigned, and he will be leaving at the end of July to pursue his teaching career. We wish him every success for the future.
- After a successful recruitment process, we look forward to welcoming Rochelle Merhet to the Photo Archive as Collections Assistant. We very much look forward to her arrival at the end of the month.
Summer staff:
We are pleased to welcome three new staff members in the Photo Archive; Max Le Feuvre, Hannah Beeby and Abbie Bentley.
Max is currently working on the Roger Long Collection and Hannah is busy with the Historic Architectural Drawings project.
Abbie Bentley will join for a 6-week period at the end of the month.
And finally, we welcomed Agatha Medina Ruiz this week. Agatha will be assisting Hervé our Field Archaeologist for two months as a specialist contractor. She is visiting Jersey this summer but is based in France for her work which mostly involves a thorough research of 150 years of Bulletins in order to have an overview of the work done by the Archaeology Section over the years.
